This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
It's thundering and raining like MAD outside. I'm so glad I don't have to plug into the wall anymore~!
Wow, I'm REALLY glad I don't plug into the wall. There was just a huge lightning out there! Whoo, this place gets some great thunderstorms! :3
Thanksgiving break is coming up soon! Just a few more barriers to bust- there's this essay due tomorrow that I don't have information about. -another lightning and boom- So that poses a problem. Man, my Drawing prof's gonna be so disappointed (I think I let him down enough with my fail interior space drawing), and I'm gonna be sad. :[ Oh, I've also got a quick exam on Monday morning, then I'm free for the rest of the week after that.
I finally started using iCal (Calendar thingy that came with my computer), so I don't have to worry about losing my planner ever again~ Now I can keep better track of my homework and get better grades! (Except for tomorrow's essay. Total fail.) >w<
Photoshop dilemma! Looks like I'm not gonna be able to get Photoshop until next year (I've gotta wait and see if CS5 comes out, because if it does, that's the version I'll need. Don't wanna buy the same thing twice)! Which means I'm stuck with diddly squat besides Manga Studio, which is really only good for linearting, til next Fall semester. Gimp likes to surprise shut down on me, so I can't use that for fear of losing all my work. Good news is I got a trial version of CS2, so I'll have that for a few weeks... Bottom line, I'm out of service for detailed digital art (The meme I drew recently is about the extent of that program) and website design (which REALLY stinks, because I had a really neat plan for TAG's redesign. -sigh-)
Anyway, I think I'll bust out the ink and acrylics! 8D
hey, by the way. Sorry that i have been draggin my feet with your navi plushie. Ill get to that soon i swear. You want it bright blue, yes? Just double checking because i will soon have time to sew a screaming fairy ball...
That's quite alright, I don't mind waiting. X3 Blue it is! Oh, that reminds me. You remember that Keaton cosplayer last year at Otakon? I was thinking about making a Keaton costume myself- I'd thought about making one a couple years ago, and he rekindled my desire to make one. You know a lot about fursuiting and stuff.. Do you think you'd be able to help me out with it? :3
Yes, yes i do. I happen to know him mostly through a grapevine of friends and facebook.
yes, i would love to help with that! I actually have been apprenticing to a fursuiter and i have learned alot. I actually have not sewn a whole one yet by myself... but i know how to. I would be more than happy to help you, but it would probalby not be ready by Otakon(they take a long time and a bit of crafty planning). I've been taught to sew them by hand by ductape dummy method- it takes longer, but the finished product is beautiful.
But before i loose myself in the methods of suiting... questions/kinda housekeeping stuff: 1. Do you want digigrade legs on your suit? 2. What is your budget(fur is expensive so i want to know how many corners to cut)? 3. I wont charge you for labor or gas, but you will buy the matierials- yes? 4. do you have reference sketches of yourself as a keaton? (specifics on shape etc.)
But yeah, I would love to help you do this!! It sounds like alot of fun!
Digigrade legs would be pretty awesome if we could get them to work good and look right!
Mmm, budget. Most of my money at the moment is going towards college and gas, but we get off school April 27th. After that I won't have to spend all my income on commuting and tuition and I'll have a lot more time to spare.
Of course I'll buy the materials~
I'm working on sketches of what I want it to look like. I think I want to make it a little more realistic than the one that's actually in the game ( [link] ), and depending on which design I go with, it might be neat to have a little movable jaw. :3
I never wanted to be a part of the furry fandom, but fursuits have always seemed like a neat thing to me. A cosplay is the perfect excuse to wear one. My mom thinks it's a cute idea. X3
Thank you so much! ^__^ When would we be able to start, do you think?
